The future is shaped by our perspective. Past experience informs our view of the world and helps to mould our present and our future.
The pandemic forced a halt in our society. It created time we’ve never had be- fore. For many, the isolation encouraged a depth of self-reflection and under- standing that was otherwise unattainable. The notion that past experience as a driving force for moving forward is something I embody in my work. As a sto- ryteller, I see beauty in the sensitivities of life. From a film making background I’m inspired by cinematic symmetry, lines and frames. Through medium and large format photography I capture a raw, intimate emotion. Often looking in- ward, I reflect on narratives of self-growth, nature and the vastness of human experience.
